I’m Carlos De la Riva, a seasoned language professional with over a decade of experience in translation, voiceover (dubbing), editing, and proofreading. As a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker born in Rio de Janeiro, I bring authentic language experience and cultural insights to my work. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, which complements my profound knowledge in various fields.

I have a strong command of SDL Trados Studio and Smartcat, ensuring efficient and accurate project delivery. My work in translating, editing, and proofreading scripts tailored for dubbing services includes TV series, movies, documentaries, video classes, and audio descriptions. Additionally, I have extensive experience translating academic articles in history, international relations, economics, and politics.
